Did Al suffer from Narcolepsy?

He falls asleep at just about every opportunity...even with his busy schedule(kidnapping, raping, killing).

I think he's drunk most of the time. Either that, or he does suffer from some kind of a brain disorder.

I thought he was crashing after numerous benders.

I noticed that he had this annoying "tic" where he would look as if he was sneezing or laughing. It usually came out of nowhere, and he did it often in the beginning of the film. SUPER annoying.

I just assumed it was due to some kind of drug he was taking.
