DVD Review

I watched the DVD on the weekend, on a large screen.

Picture: bright and crisp; occasional flecks and scratches, but not annoying. Probably the DVD was made from a fairly good copy of the film - it does not appear that any restoration work was done on it.

Sound: clear, mono. Not bad, not great. Low level of background noise (if any).

Subtitles: acceptable. Sometimes poorly timed, making it confusing to follow conversations.

Conclusion: if you like the movie, buy the DVD.
