I just saw this film for the first time, and thought it was a nice little movie. Great chemistry between the two main characters (even though she was a little cold), some very funny moments and dialogue, great music and a rather sad ending.
shareYeh I liked it a lot. A sorta fan of Glenda's, and I think she deserved the Oscar for this... OVER Ellen Burstyn for The Exorcist... I'm sorry but the "Exorcist" was religious pornography, meanwhile, this comedy, though sorta dated, was quite well done and liked the characters... it was a nice love affair the two had! And thankfully neither she nor he turned into a Woody Allen affair-victim, i.e. crazy Angelica Huston-like in C&M or Michael Caine in H&herSisters.
