When Tom was conning the neighborhood boys to do his fence painting chore, where did all the extra painting materials come from?! Paint brushes, paint mops, paint buckets, etc. Tthey all just appeared as each new kid appeared. Just saying..... : )

Think they got the extra paint from Home. Would be the most logical. They would have the extra paint for white washing their own fences. It's not explained in the book either.
