How to be prepared for the Thief

Ok heres how to be prepared for the Thief-our Lord Jesus

1. Understand that only God knows for sure the time of Christ's coming
Matthew 24:36-"But of that day no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but
My Father only."

2. The Thief will not take everyone up to his kingdom
Mathew 24:40-"Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left."

3. Sinners cannot be ready for the thief-The bad news is that we all are sinners
We all have broken God's commandments.
James 2:10-For whoever shall keep the whole law,and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all

Since we all sinned in word, thought, and deed and became disqualified from heaven. How can we be saved? Heres the good news coming up

4. Jesus himself become the answer for all us sinners who want to be taken away
with him
Romans 6:23-For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord
John 6:47-"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who belives in Me has everlasting life."

5. Jesus provided this by paying the price for everyone's sins by alowing himself to be executed on a cross and then rose from the dead
Romans 5:8-9-But God demonstates His own love toward us,in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by
His blood, we shall be saved by His life.

6. Anyone can be given this perfect gift of salvation to all who ask with full
faith in his/her heart
Romans 10:13-For "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved"

The first step is to ask the Lord by saying a prayer like this. You can use your own words but def put all your faith, heart and trust in this

Dear Lord, I am a sinner and can never earn or deserve eternal life. But I know
that Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead to pay for all my sins. Forgive
me of every sin and tresspass and come into my heart. Be my Lord and Savior forever. Thank you for hearing this prayer and your wonderful gift of salvation
Amen

If you prayed that prayer or one like it from your heart, then I belive that the
thief won't leave you behind. He will never leave you nor forsake you

I will strongly encourage you to tell a good Jesus/bible teaching church and tell them that you accepted Christ. They can help continue your journey toward
the kingdom. I def encourage the following

A. daily prayer-prasing the Lord for blessings, confessing sins, praying for
lost souls and anything that concerns you

B. Forgive anyone who tresspasses against you and love everyone-Really important in your walk with the Lord

C. Babtism-Very wonderful experience to those who belong to the Lord

D. Regular bible reading and church attendance-Along with prayer, the best ways to continully recarge your spirtual batteries

E. Share messages like this to others. Bible tracts and the Bible itself are great tools

May the Lord save and bless all who read this :)

Romans 6:23
John 10:27-29

The best way to prepare is to be able to discern the times and the seasons. We don't know the day our hour but we are to know the seasons and signs. Christ gives out these signs in Matthew 24, with Mark 13 and Luke 21 as the second witnesses. He's not returning until immediately "after" the tribulation of those days and warns us not to be deceived. Paul gives out this same warning in 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2. He had to write a second letter to the Thessalonians because they were confused about the timing. He says that "day" shall not happen until a falling away (apostasy) and the son of perdition sits on the throne proclaiming to be God. This is the antichrist which in the Greek means "instead of" Christ. He will be here first. Please get in the word. Many will be deceived.

Also check out the word the different definitions of the word taken as utilized in the New Testament in a Strong's Concordance. The word taken in the verse you quoted does "not" mean removed from this earth. We are to wait and remain in the field working.

Sadly, most Christians are still celebrating the pagan holidays that have been
Added to our doctrine. I am speaking of Christmas and Easter, read the bible nowhere does it say to celebrate these holidays. This is because, is you do your research they are pagan holidays of ritual child sacrifice. No one wants to admit that and many get upset when it is pointed out.
