I remember one time back in the Eighties I was at the video store (remember those?) and standing in the horror section. A woman stood next to me, looking at the boxes and asked me what I could recommend. "Theatre of Blood" was right in front of me, I grabbed the tag and handed it to her. "I'm not a Vincent Price fan." she said. All I could do was walk away before harsh words were said!

I'd wonder why she asked for a recommendation and then complained about what I choose. Kind of like when people ask for advice when they're going to do whatever they want either way.
