The Force-Fed Pie Scene Was Unforgettable!

This was truly a class film! Brilliant from start to finish!

And doesn't everybody agree that among all the gruesome deaths which Lionheart gave his victims, the final one where he forced Robert Morley down on the table while he force-fed him the poodle pie was the most gross and hideous? The way Lionheart set it up intially, making Robert believe he had won a pie competition . . . then pouncing on him with the chilling quote "Do have some more!" still sends shivers down my spine even today!

Yes, Theatre of Blood was a real classic.

I agree,when I saw this when I was 9,it scared me,the scene with him force feeding him the poodle dish.I never forgot it,something about it really stayed with me.This movie is easily one of Price's best IMO.

Yeah, the whole poodle pie sequence was simply incredible and one of the definite nasty highlights of the whole picture.

Looked like a cheesy fondue of dog cubes. If it wasnt his own poodle, and it wasnt being squished down his throat through a nasty old funnel, he may have found it tasty. Look at Korea. I read that when the olympics was going on over there, the 'spin doctors' went around to all the little back alley food shoppes and told em to lay off the dog cubes. They thought it was bad press as far as the tourism was concerned. A friend of mine who spent time in the region said " ITS NOT BAD, IT REMINDS ME OF VENISON". I said, " GOOD FOR YOU! I WONT BE EATING BAMBI EITHER." One of my favorite movies.

That scene was so sad. His dogs were the most important thing in his whole life, so that made it all the more sad. The word "cruel" is an understatement. I felt so sorry for him.

Pretty nasty scene all around. Showing the Dogs was shocking to me. As soon as I saw the Chef get up I knew what was going to happen... I felt better reminding myself Vincent Price was an animal lover in real life and it was just a movie after all.
