Need list of songs + groups played in Sunshine

I need to find a movie from the late 60's to early half of 70's that contain acoustic music or at least a particular style of music from that period. Does anyone have a list of the songs and the groups that perform the songs that were played in Sunshine? Thanks for any help!!!

I have the soundtrack LP, do you want the songs that were played in the TV movie? Who sang them and who wrote them? Let me know and I will get you the list.

Filmloverlady... I as well would LOVE a list of this particular soundtrack, please. However... just the song titles. The one that I cannot remember has lyrics such as, "Honey, I miss you... and I'm doin' fine." I hope that is this soundtrack. Thank you no matter what. Goodbye.

P.S. Just in case... [email protected]

*Without the "NOSPAM" of course. Just making sure no one spams me to death, ha.

Hi Jean: The song you're asking about is called "Honey" by Bobby Goldsboro. I sure wish I could see this "Sunshine" movie again also.

I would love a list of the songs on the show SUnshine as well. The only one I remember is JohnDenver's "Sunshine on my shoulders". Have been a huge John Denver fan ever since that movie came out. I was 11 when it was released. I must have seen the one made in 1975, where the mother had died. I have never seen the one where the mom was dying, as in the listed 1973. I LOVED this movie as well. If anyone has a copy of this or knows where I might be able to get one, I would be greatly appreciative.

Thanks so very much,

MAry

Some of the songs ...

'Sunshine On My Shoulders'
'My Sweet Lady'
'Goodbye Again'
'Take Me Home Country Roads'
'Daydreams'

these songs were written by John Denver

During the wedding, 'Put Your Hand In The Hand' was sung, that song was originally recorded by Ocean ...

I'm sure there were other songs, as well ... I'd have to give my movie a listen again to make sure ...

I have a copy of this movie on DVD ....:)

I am looking for a copy of Sunshine (1973 movie). If you have a copy would it be possible to get a copy from you? I have been looking for years and it appears to be impossible to get hold of.

As one of the actor/musicians from the film and the album, the only songs I recall are the same ones mentioned in the last post. Cliff De Young, Billy Mumy and I actually played and sang the stuff, though I'm sure there was some orchestration added. I also remember, that in the sequel, ("Sunshine Christmas") we did a Hoyt Axton song along with more John Denver. On the short lived series (13 weeks), we did more Denver songs--no more than one song per episode--and occasionally, Billy Mumy and I who both wrote songs, got to do a fragment of something original here and there. We never did any more recording after the album that we did for the original TV movie.

Corey, where would one go to find this movie on DVD? I too remember the movie and have a copy of the book, which is the only book besides the Bible that I've read often. I remember the TV series of Sunshine Christmas, when the daughter had grown a bit and her life with her musician father. I'd appreciate any information you may possible have. Thank you. Connie

I remember you guys did a pretty smokin' version of Jim Croce's "Workin' At The Car Wash Blues" in the last episode. I wanted to record that when the episode was re-run, but either the network or the local station preempted it. The series was never shown again after that. Still looking for it!

thank you for posting the list of songs - I saw this movie in the 70's while living in South Africa - still in high school - and loved it so much - cried my heart out all the way through and have been searching for it on VhS / DVD for some time.

When I found this message board I was at first not sure whether this was the one I was looking for though the story line was right. The one thing that has stayed with me all through the years was the music in the movie. I love John Denver's music.
