Best and most ridiculous car chase ever, 10/10

The car chase is so good, i'd personnally put it up there with Bullitt and Ronin, If a tad ridiculous in places, I.e. when he drives through street after street with no traffic and then suddenly he drives headlong on into five cars, and manages to clip the rear tail lights off every one of them as he weave's between them.

Also when he smashes through the gas station forcourt, glass window and the cars suspension was obviously toughened to take the jump, as all people know american cars have super soft suspension, and the car should have collapsed in a heap. It bounces pretty high when it lands aswell, bronson facial expression throughout are apsolutly priceless, so serious, ignoring all distractions. The Stone Killer is a very under rated classic of the seventies and i think should be given as much appreciation as dirty harry or the french connection.

Thankyou, for your time, I'll be here all week, be sure to tip your waitress.

Dear squid: I agree THE STONE KILLER is a neat '70s movie. I've watched my Columbia Home Video about 8 times. It seems Charles Bronson at least did quite a bit of stunt driving in that car chase scene, like when he goes flying through the flea market running amok over everything in sight while chasing baddie Paul Koslo.

Very Un-Politically Correct, too. Remember the line at the beginning? "You're a black pusher and this ain't a tolerant society". Bronson also says "The FBI can piss in their collective ear". Fun.

Yeah, I found it rather refreshing how un-P.C. this movie is.

What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

Yes! Awesome car chase! This gem was just on HD Movies this past week, one of my favorite Bronson films, and I hadn't seen in years, so I had to record it!

I laughed thinking of all the paperwork that would have to be filled out from the collateral damage caused by the car chase. And of course, he takes Langley for a quick and final ride in his/on his V-8 Plymouth!

I also laughed at the line by Torrey's superior when asked by Torrey what HE thought happened...." Witnesses said you used the car on 'em!" Torrey should have said "Yep, I did, didn't I? heh heh!" :)
