How many of you thought they were saying "drifter" instead of "grifter" in this film? I'm guilty for sure.

No, because "grifter" is a common word for ne'er-do-wells seeking to make a quick and dishonest buck.

I wonder if it's an age thing. I'm 64 and knew the word grifter. Probably not in common use like it was years ago.
