Banned in the USA!

One of the few films that was banned from theaters after being made in the USA.

A "black-spoilation" movie made soon after the volatile civil rights era. The film centers around a black man who works for the CIA and was passed up for promotion. The lead quits, sneaks back into the CIA (as a janitor) finds documents that confirm his suspicion that the US government is keeping the black community down.

Never 'officially' banned. The FBI came to the producers door and used some serious persuasive skills in a meeting to make sure this film was never released in black communities.

I assume it is available to watch today, if I came across it randomly, I would have to watch it.
