Let me start by saying I love this movie , in my book it's a classic. But I have to admit that every time I watch the movie I laugh at the scene when the police use the scoops as a form of crowd control. And the way the people just get caught in the bucket and dumped into the back.

Funny, just saw it for the first time in a while and had the same initial reaction, but then thought if those trucks were just open boxes, they'd fill up pdq, but if they were like trash compactors or meat grinders on wheels, they would be way more efficient and terrifying. They described in the book?
