okay, a long time ago, i bought a pack of horror flicks (one of those 50000000 for a nickel things) and SNBN came with it. i looked it up and read both good and bad about it. So i watched it a while ago and WOW, easily one of the best slasher flicks ever, and this is coming from someone who has just about every slasher/giallo/thriller he can get his hands on.

but that was at least a year ago. So, last night/this morning, i decided I'd pop it in again and give it another spin. Now picture this. It's 3:00 in the morning. Both my parents have left for work, so I'm all alone. I got the house pitch black, except for our widescreen tv. now that was one of the most exhilarating, surreal, and down right creepy expiriences of my life. The subtlety of this flick is just amazing. hardly any gore, no special effects, and little action. But I'll be damned if i wasn't ready to piss my pants by the end of this flick.

so i salute this flick for scaring the willies out of me lol, and encourage anyone who hasn't seen this flick to hunt it down.

I wholeheartedly agree. The writers of SNBN deserve to be commended for pulling off such a masterfully effective horror film while not including the vulgarity, language, nudity or excessive gore that has mitigated the horror films of the last 35 years.
