Excellent DVD transfer

I've read a lot of people's complaints about there not being a good DVD transfer of this film. I just bought a DVD of this movie that looks very sharp. Sure, it's grainy and old but so is the film. It looks about as good as it possibly could without a costly restoration process. And of all places I bought it at Shop Rite for $3.99!!! What a deal! I have never seen it and I just watched about half of it in fast forward, occasionally stopping. It looks like a great transfer of a pretty good movie.

You seem to be quite the expert on this movie. I have never seen any other print of this film so I could be wrong. It might have originally looked a lot better than the print I have. But I thought it was pretty good so if you haven't seen this copy yet, I'd recommend you order one. I had no problem watching it.

I might have to make a trip to my local shoprite tonite to see if I can find this. I've picked up tons of horror (and even some kung fu or some cheap film noir) DVDs for 3.99.

Well I wish you the best of luck. Keep in mind that I bought that way back in March of 2006.

Just bought mine in a three DVD pack by St Clair Vision. The picture it is not the best but think it is better then some of these other cheap made movies I have seen or bought.

The REEL CLASSIC FILMS 2007 release(black cover,no artwork)runs 85 minutes and appears to be the original theatrical print.All the credits are intact and you can finally see everything quite clearly.It can be purchased on Amazon and you can read my comment for endorsing it.REEL CLASSIC FILMS reissued it in 2008 with an identical cover,again with no artwork but now colored red instead of black.I have not seen this version but it's probably the same transfer.

Can anyone post screen captures from the various DVD releases so we can see just what they all look like? Imageshack.com allows for free image posting.

Lostintwilight had a comparison page set up at his fan site but he found Jesus last year and took it all down. All of the commercial North American DVDs of this movie are more or less the same, I have not seen the one mentioned by the original poster but it sounds like as good a choice as any.
