When this came out, did they mention Blacula--which came out two years before this (he dies at the end)----or resolve it in some way, since he is seemingly "reborn" for Scream Blacula Scream
Scream Blacula Scream was the first one I saw, but Blacula came out before it....At the end of Blacula, the vampire dies.....Then he's alive again in the 60's with Pam Grier here in soCal?

thank you! i was able to finally see the whole thing and piece the two together, having missed part of the beginning the first time i caught this flick. love Pam Grier in practically anything she does, and now could see the connection made to the previous film----included in the flashbacks, etc
i got those movie release dates from IMDB, and i thought this looked very late-60s or early 70s
i love the story in the first one, how Blackula Came to be----such a sad and humanizing backstory!
