8.5 Stars?

I watched this movie for a film appreciation class in the mid-90s, and I thought it was horrible. Slow, painful, and pretentious...I seriously felt like I had spent a decade trapped in an awful marriage. I wanted to hurt him, her, myself...anything to make it stop! I wonder now if I'd feel differently about the film given that I'm 20 years older. But I'll never know because I dont think U can talk myself into sitting through it again. :-(
