a lot better then what I expected, the acting was incredible but the storyline did have some flaws but other then that a very good movie

Yes, that's how I felt about it, too. Didn't live up to the potential of the first 15 minutes, and Hackman is more interesting than Pacino, who I felt was a bit miscast. A touch too slow for it's own good, too. Nice attempt, but could've been much better.

Exactly how I felt after watching it. It had two very funny scenes: Pacino with those doors in the junkyard and Pacino diverting the checkers attention in the department store. It reminded me of Midnight Cowboy but these characters didn't generate the same sympathy from me.

6/10. It's a solid enough movie with a good performance by Pacino and a great one by Hackman. The ending certainly hits home, but the whole is less than the sum of parts.

6.5/10 - it was a bit hammy.
