The theme music- Lol!!

Just me or did it seem the theme music at the opening & end was laughably out of place?

I know it was set in "present", modern times, but it came off like a poor man's Shaft theme. (Who's the tall, dark, black-caped vampire who's a SEX machine to all the chicks? DRAC'! Daaaamn right!)

It certainly sounds like a product of it's time. I imagine most people seeing it for the first time today would complain that the music is "dated." It doesn't really have a creepy, Gothic sound so nothing about it screams "Dracula" to me but it doesn't last for long so it doesn't really hurt the movie all that much.

To me, John Cacavas is one of the worst film scorers of any era.
