Amazon instant video - poor quality print

I watched this film on Amazon instant video for US$2.
Just a warning for anyone else considering it, the visual quality of the print that was digitized was wretched. Lots of streaking and spotting at the beginning and ending of the film reels. It's an older film that I guess was not preserved very well, so I don't know whether this is the best you are going to find with any digital version, whether on DVD or streaming video.
