I Saw This Along With 'The Boy Who Cried Werewolf'

...It was part of a double feature that played back in 1973 at the Orange Blossom Twin Theater just off of Orange Blossom Trail (aka, Highway 441) in Orlando, Florida. I was 12 years old at the time and I was a big horror movie fan! Unfortunately, "Sssssss" scared the crap outta me, and I couldn't sleep for a couple of weeks without the lights on! Even today, this movie still bothers me, but I'm not quite sure why, LOL! "The Boy Who Cried Werewolf" was pretty good too, although both these movies are considered by most to be corny by today's standards. I left Florida in the early 80s, but I often wonder what happen to the Orange Blossom Trail Twin theater. Probably went outta business decades ago...

Saw the same double feature at 9 years old as you did in N.Y.C. on 14th street. "Ssssss" stayed on my mind due to *spoilers* the Tim/snakeboy scene. They used a real person lacking his limbs & made him up to be a snake/man hybrid thing...creeped my young self out very much for long time. Even today it's creepy.
The werewolf film was very forgettable with bad wolf make-up if I recall. I think the film might have had some hippies in it as well.
