Now to check Strother's filmography and see if he did any other movies after this one.....LOL

There’s also a scene where a snake clearly bites him on the hand, although I’m sure it wasn’t venomous. At first I thought it was a double for Martin, but the shot doesn’t cut and it’s him.

He handled a rattlesnake in an episode of Gunsmoke around the same time as this movie. Or it is implied given the footage shown on television. Some people are not bothered by being close to such snakes but I would guess that club is a tiny percentage of people.
