City ambush scene...

I noticed a striking similarity between the visual images of the partisans ambushing of the German patrol in Rome and the artwork used on the 1970's paperback covers of Sven Hassell's novels. In fact I think one of the images was lifted directly from the film.

Great film, solid, atmospheric, moving.
