This is the film where Mike Farrell achieved some degree of recognition. At least I noticed him at the time. If I remember correctly, he was also the Shell Answer Man on the oil company's commercials where he would expound on the value of the additive Platformate. This is merely a platinum catalyst that "reforms" the straight-chain alkanes into their branched-chain derivatives in order to increase the octane rating of gasoline.
