One question -SPOILERS-

I am slightly confused about the ending of this film. All the men she kills in the end, did she really kill them? I was confused as to whether that was part of her psychosis or if it really happened because in the end all of the men were at the cannibal ritual. Something was missing for me. Anyone have any interpretations/thoughts on this?

Maybe they drove her crazy. Maybe it was part of their withcraft ritual to make her see things.

Here is my attempt to put all pieces together.

A cannibal society lives in the city, which supposedly loves to eat hot girls. Their method is simple - give girls something to eat/drink, drive them crazy, make them commit suicide. They have an arrangement at the funeral place, the body goes inside for burning but they steal the body before it is set to fire. Finally, at the meeting point they all gather and enjoy the raw flesh of the dead girl.

The spot Franceska and Silvia as their target, because they are beautiful, young and delicious. They invite Silvia to a party, where they talk about African witchcraft. They give her something to drink which starts her hallucinations. She starts to dream things which are not there. Many times its shown that she has lost count of time - she comes back from party leaving at 2AM and thinks it is only 9PM - she sleeps till 4PM. All this time she has been having dreams and hallucination which are shown to us. This drives her crazy and in her dreamy state she jumps off the roof.

The same thing happens to her friend Franceska, they drive her crazy, she dies in the shower. Then the retired professor is shown with red stain on shoe. He is coming back after eating Franceska.

Watched it last night but can't remember the other women ever seeming odd, confused etc. like the main character.

Part of me thinks the end is true but also maybe not, as the amount of people in on it seemed over the top.

It's interesting for a Giallo because it leaves you wondering.

francesca didn't seem to go through the same kind of being driven crazy process.
