I just saw it. It's the "italian Rosmary's Baby" without the baby. Very good craft in direction and cinematography, but there is a lack narrative substance. Nothing happens for an hour and a half. Boring.
I thought it was rather tedious, and the ending seemed almost tacked on.

Agreed. This is a very gripping, startling, and suspenseful film with a devastating doozy of a surprise bummer ending. 9 out of 10 from me.
