So says a 1974 issue of Box Office magazine. Maybe IMDB wants to add that to locations.

Yes I was a lil kid living in Athens at the time and would hear adults talking about this movie that was filmed down at Charlie Williams. I saw it last night on TCM not knowing this was the movie they were talking about.

Some of the scenes looked eerily familiar so I did a lil research and found out this was the movie from all those years ago, pretty cool. There is some interesting press over at atlanta time machine website.

I saw this movie at the video store so I rented it and watched it. I heard that it was filmed at the pinecrest lodge. Today I drove out there and saw the lodge. Looks just like it did in the movie... Too bad they closed it down. And they also built a giant subdivision around it. What a shame to waste that good land like that.
