I am looking for the best Region 1 version of this film - best transfer (i.e. audio and video quality).

Which DVD release is the superior? Thanks!

The Criterion Collection release in both the DVD and Blu-ray formats looks and sounds terrific as well as boasts a wealth of neat extras.
