The trailer with images from cut ending

Fortunately the lost ending has recently resurfaced, as of summer 2012; a restorer found it-- in light of the film's limited success, he did question whether anyone was really looking-- and has been doing limited screenings of the film with it included after the credits (in L.A. at least, it screened at both the Silent Movie Theater, and LACMA).

I forget the guy's name, but apparently he, Bass's daughter Jennifer Bass, and Paramount are the main 3 entities in control of the film. He did volunteer however that there's been discussion of a Criterion Collection release that might include this lost ending, however, that all depends on how many people here bug 'em to do so...
