Bootlegging, Cars, Songs, and the Whole Darn Thing

Well, we have a 1936 convertible, a film marquee with a 1935 movie listed on it, bootlegging in Kansas maybe two or three years after Prohibition was repealed, "On the Banks of the Ohio" was recorded in 1936 by the Blue Sky Boys, so........

What dates are right here, and what dates are, well, out of date?

Now Kansas was a severe state about alcohol going back to 1880, so maybe some, much, or all of it, was still dry after Repeal. The movie, Steamboat Round the Bend, could have been second run, and the car was said to be bought new, so that leaves us with the question of a dry state or county.

Any avid historians out there to edify on this?

Please keep in mind that I really don't care that much. Paper Moon is such a fine piece of work, and so enjoyable, and such a thorough transport to that era, that a year or two here and there doesn't matter very much to me. I guess I'm wondering about the dryness of Kansas, mostly. I come from Maine, and it was dry outside the Prohibition years.

Im just going to say its most likely mistakes made by the soundtrack department that screwed up the historical accuracy

Pans Labyrinth = Most overrated film of all time
