Lindsay Wagner
I found it kinda funny to hear the then-future Jamie Sommers/70's Bionic Woman swearing. (I grew up in the 70's watching that show, and I only saw The Paper Chase recently)

sharei thought i'd make a couple of points here...interested if anyone else out there agrees.
i've seen this movie many times...it's absolutely a great flick. the last time i watched it, though, it occurred to me that either Lindsay Wagner's part wasn't written that well, or that when really scrutinized, her character doesn't do much in the movie except look really beautiful and simultaneously bitch a hell of a lot. i mean, after a while, what guy would want to be involved with her? she's cold, aloof, judgmental, a know-it-all, and condescending.
"Danny's not here, Mrs. Torrance"
Well, you could also say the same things about Hart, right? Of course, we see more of him, we know more about his personality. On the other hand, we only see Susan from Hart's point of view, which may not tell the whole story.
But I don't know, really... maybe it's just mutual attraction. You can't really explain love. Besides, I don't think that's the point of the movie. The point is that Hart has to give up time with the woman he loves in order to do well in school and gain approval of a professor who he admires.
We don't really know much about the beginning of their relationship anyway and what conversations that they might have had behind the scenes. The way I saw it as, Susan started acting colder only when Hart wasn't spending much time with her.
On the other hand, she also looks just like Lindsay Wagner, so it works out.

The character's name is spelled Jaime Sommers, not Jamie.
shareI thought it was obvious that Wagner was the weak link in this film. The part could have been written better but it definitely could have been cast better.
Gorgeous? In spades, of course. Talent? Not even bionics could have saved her. It just wasn't there.
Remember When Movies Didn't Have To Be Politically Correct?
the dialogue she has to say is ridiculous.
Season's Greetings!
