"Who Else" could play a convincing role as an escaped Civil War soldier, riding a CAMEL(!) through the old west.... with an orphan boy tagging along? ONLY James Garner... and what a great film!

tho i dont like mr. garner much since maverick when i found him fascinating as a kid, this role was great.

as was the ufo movie he made in 90s. rockford etc did not work. great escape did.
