Blackface???

approx. 01:55:00 - 01:58:00 two darkskinned men are on screen. One color appears natural. Other person's color may be makeup ? Almost looks fake.

What do you think?

Didn't think darkface was still being used until Ted Danson did his version years later.

Times are based on automatic programmed settings from cable provider. Scene time may be off a minute or so on other players.

The scene is where a presentation is being shown on a projector screen. Malcolm M is sitting in a chair with others watching the presentation.

Didn't read all postings.
Perhaps I should start doing that.
Or at least more than I did this time!

I was guilty of doing what I see so frequently on theses boards, that is starting a new thread when with a little browsing the answer to my new thread may already be available!

Thanks!

I wasn't offended at all. In fact, I do it all the time myself. I happened to read that thread before I read your post, and it was just easier to post a link than to try and regurgitate everything. 

What did you think, BTW? I found it a little shocking at first, but then I sort of understood that there was a point to be made.

Caught me by surprise.
I hadn't seen it on tv or elsewhere in many years at the time of the movie's filming.

Way back about 1957 as a kid I remember attending a play with actors in blackface and didn't think anything about it. What 7 year old kid would?
