Help Me **SPOILERS**

Alright, I just watched this for the 1st time (I can't believe I missed this in the 70's) and I have a question.....
Was the whole Ditco thing her doing? Did she buy the house 6 months earlier planning the scenario?
It was pretty obvious that her husband was boinking her friend, but did they really switch her pills? Were they planning on trying to get rid of her when the whole 'murdered guy in the window' situation popped up?
All in all, it was a good movie. I wish I had payed more attention during the slow parts. Perhaps if I watch it again, knowing what I now know, it will be a little more obvious and I'll be able to answer my own questions.

Actually, I found a repeat viewing even more enjoyable, Taylor's hystrionics make sense, she is acting for her husband and friend and the police, not for the audience. My opinion is that she had Ditco purchased, her husband didn't remember it, also think Appleby knew what was going on, his appearance at the end was more than coincidence, perhaps he planted those trees in a grave-like hole to push the plot along and further his own ends. Not sure husband and friend really plotted against her life, just plotted to run away together. Taylor was the vengeful wife with the plot, perhaps she pretended to think they were poisoning here to convince them she was paranoid. An intriguing, under appreciated film.

"I wish I had payed more attention during the slow parts."

This is why I always tell people to pay MORE attention during the 'slow parts'. It's during those parts that a lot of important information is revealed.

I'm guilty; I just saw this movie for the first time and I was only half paying attention. It just seemed like Taylor was hysterically overacting. Little did I realize that it was on purpose. Great ending!
