Divers names
Could anyone with a better copy than mine could tell me what is the name of diver number 15? It bothers me for years...
shareWatching it now and I don't see a 15. The highest # they go to is 13 and that's Stevens, the guy who popped his cork and tried to clock diver #9 with a wrench at teh beginning.

Nope, you are wrong. There is for example number 14, Hawkes paired with number 8, Weaver (around 17:50) and according to the blackboard on Triton there is number 15... unfortunately I can't read the name because of poor quality of my copy. Also, there is diver number 12 (5:55, behind Cousins back) and I can't figure out his name as well.
shareI was looking at the divers, not the blackboard, even rewound the film (recorded digitally off TCM) so I could take a better look. I saw all the way up to 13, but there was no 15 in the water.
If he was there he was a "Nameless Crewmember" relegated to the blackboard only and not in the water.
