Is this ever on TV?

I saw this movie at a Drive-in Theatre in Michigan in 1974. I remember this was supposed to be a loose remake of Todd Browning's "Freaks". Back in 1974, one couldn't get videos or anything, and "Freaks" was never broadcast on TV. In 1974, I thought "Mutations" was pretty OK, but heck, I was 17 years old and pretty naive. I remember Donald Pleasance was in it, and I don't remember too much more...maybe the end where a big chase ensued....anyone else remember anything about this movie?

Today I'm looking up Michael Dunn movies.

I've never seen "The Mutations", but would like to. I wish the "basic" networks would play a few like this on occasion instead of 'hood shoot-em-ups accompanied by non-stop gansta rap (or whatever it is). I'm not saying don't *ever* play them, but I'd like more variety, a better balance of what's available.

I recorded it when it was shown about 5 years ago in the Sci-Fi channel. I also have it on video, under the title of "Freakmaker". The video is long out of print & I've never seen it shown on Sci-fi again. I've actually never watched the Sci-fi recording in it's entirety, as I got the video soon after, but the video release has some nudity in it which I imagine was edited out of Sci-fi's showing.

I remember once on TNT or TBS around 1997 or 98. It was on a Saturday night horror movie night.

It's certainily never shown on British terrestrial TV, as I would definitely have seen it.

The idea of Donal Pleasance and Tom Baker acting alongside dwarves and assorted freaks in a 70's movie called The Mutations is mouth watering!

I see it's on DVD though.

"...and remember, The Queen Mother died listening to Osymyso."

It was on The Paranormal Channel in the UK last night. Good film but the video quality was rubbish.

I saw it quite a few years ago early morning the day after Halloween (like 1 or 2 in the morning) rite after they showed the Halloween movies.
