Actress Playing the Little Girl in This Version

Just for trivia sake and those who watch Soap Operas, the actress who plays Susan in this version played Betsy Stewart on As tHe World turns for Many yrs. Her real name is SUzanne Davidson. I remember her starting out on the soap as a child. She actually had only been on ATWT a short time before she made this movie. IT says she played the role from 1972 to 1980. She actually grew up from a child to a young woman on the show and I felt was a pretty good actress.

There is lots of criticism for her portrayal in this movie. IMDB only list 3 things for her so I wonder why she stopped acting and didnt do anything else after she left ATWT. TO me she was the first Betsy and the one I remember a lot from her time on there. As most recall Betsy was later played by Meg Ryan who had a big storyline on the show and later left to have a big movie career.

Megs portrayal Of Betsy was totally different than Suzannes. She totally changed her personality. Her Betsy was very qwirky and off the wall where Suzanne was much more serious. I think she had a romance with a character named Eric played by Peter Reckell who is more famously known as Bo on Days of OUr Lives before she left the show.

IMDB lists her as the 4th Betsy. I am assuming the earlier ones were very little or babies since she was 9 when she started playing Betsy and played her until she was 17.
