I feel like this movie definitely had a James Bond sort of feel to it. Did anybody else sense this also?

After re-visiting the Dirty Harry movies recently, I have to say that this one really is my favorite installment in the seres (with Sudden Impact being a very close 2nd). Upon re-watching this movie, it felt like an Americanized version of 007 and Eastwood himself really did have a vibe to him that felt like an American James Bond with similarities to both Sean Connery and Roger Moore. I know that Eastwood was approached to play 007 after Connery left, yet gracefully declined. I feel like the 007 influence that this era seemed to have is felt in this movie and it really adds to the texture of the film in general
