shareAnd it's much better than "True Romance," in my opinion. It's never a good idea to feature another film in your film if the other film is far superior. Makes me want to watch the smaller screen instead.

For you cats who are payin attention, theres another flick in True Romance that is awesome, when patricia arquette is watchin tv shes watchin a bunch of chinese guys shooting each other with guns. This is from the John Woo film "A Better Tomorrow 2".
If any of yall are action junkies and love massive shoot em up scenes like the finale of Scarface, you HAVE to watch some John Woo movies.

The Fargas scene from I'm Gonna Git You Sucka where his pimp character recalls winning the "talent competition" at the Pimp of the Year contest with the poem "my bitch better have my money" was also clearly inspired by the Player's Ball scene in The Mack. Maybe even his high heeled shoes with fish inside -- a scene -- filmed documentary style at the real event -- of a guy trying to leg out a ground ball in a softball game at the pimp's picnic in The Mack while hearing platforms was hilarious and might have inspired the Wayans.
