Painfully bad pacing

That murder parade is just roaming around all slow on its amazingly perfectly timed murder. They knew the target would be at that spot and linger for the entire time it took for their slow asses to get to him. What an insanely stupid murder. Imagine the planning of this. Imagine how easily this gigantic effort could have failed. Emblematic of what went wrong with the Moore stuff.

Wow! Something unbelievable in a Bond film! Like Connery/Bond passing as Japanese in YOLT (the template for the Austin Powers movies) or anything in DAF.

Stupid comment.

The point of the scene is to give the impression of a genuine funeral. Funerals are by their nature slow moving. Hence why this one started slow to show audiences that this appeared to be a traditional funeral.

However, New Orleans and others can also be joyous and celebratory.

This particular funeral was a subterfuge to cover the assassination of the agent.

You are correct. The original post was a stupid comment.

My favourite is the Skyfall subway scene.

He escapes and just happens to come down the subway steps at the exact time to be given a policeman outfit that he changes into faster than Moore can disguise himself as a clown 😂

What an utter joke those Craig films were...

Wasn't Skyfall a remake of Home Alone? Spectre was definitely a remake of Austin Powers: Goldmember.

Same exact problem! It is a big part of why Skyfall was so shitty. I don't mind the extraordinary or having to suspend disbelief a LITTLE. But shit like this is like the bus jump in Speed. Y'know, stuff geared toward the kwestmo types.

That scene illustrated just how much of a genius Silva was. His timing was perfect several times in Skyfall
