I found a copy of this at a used book and CD store, and I am so happy! It was the one with the cover art where she looks pretty much like a tacky blonde Ariel knockoff (what kind of mermaid wears a hairbow?), but I read the back and the plot summary called her Marina and said she had a dolphin friend named Fritz, so I knew it was the right one. Unfortunately, it's a VHS, so I don't know how long it will last, but my Disney Little Mermaid is alive and kickin' without any tracking, as it has been for about six years.

lol thats where i found mine too, but it has the original cover art with Marina and Fritz on it. I love it. I dont watch it too often so it doesnt torn out.. I could buy the dvd, bu its a censored version and that kinda sucks..

Myeah I wish they re-release it in widescreen with a cover featuring characters from the movie lol.... Wtf is wrong ? This movie's great and actually pretty well known ! Why doesnt any company give it the release it deserves ?!

I agree, this film is so in need of a proper, "official" DVD release in the West!

I found a website that has an EXCELLENT DVD transfer. The cover art is very beautiful and just right for it. The website says that it is an All Region DVD and will play on any DVD player. I have not seen that copy in the stores so chances are it might be a bootleg, but I do not care because I am replacing my VHS with that awesome DVD. It is in Full screen and in English and I believe it is NOT censored.

The name of the Website is dvdkitchen.com. That is the only website I know that sells a great copy of this movie. I recommend this website to anyone finding a copy of this movie.
