did the stupid prince know it was her?

at the end when he held the hairpin and her scale, did he realize it was her or was it just the movie flashing back?

I think at that part... he did realise that Marina was the one who rescued him!
I would have loved to have seen what happened his marriage after that! That would be a movie on its own! HAHA!

I love this version of the Little Mermaid, I used to rent it out every weekend as a kid, but then one day, it just wasn't there anymore! It had been replace by the dreaded... Ariel! Lol- I liked the Disney Little mermaid too, but Marina was always the favorite!

Young Hillary: Be sure to keep in touch C.C. ok?
Young C.C.: Well sure we're friends aren't we?

Yeah, same here! I'd also love to see how he gets along with his parents afterward.

Gunner of Team Captain Jack Sparrow. Savvy?

Prince : Did you save my life at sea that night?

Princess : No, what are you talking about?
Prince : WHAT :@

reply

Lol, would have helped if he asked her before the marriage.

That prince was stupid for multiple reasons. One for falling in love with a girl because you think she saved your life and you are not even sure it was her is the dumbest move he ever made. I would love to see him suffering knowing what he did to Marina.

Same again! I wonder if anyone's ever tried writing a story about it...

Eric isn't my favorite prince; but I did like that he was proactive and when Ariel was in trouble he didn't ask questions just stepped into help.

Lois Lane=Leia Lane

Marina is such a better person than me, because I would have stabbed him in the heart and returned home.

I just think my reaction, screaming and yelling at the tv for her to kill the prince and his wife shows just how much the movie was able to capture Andersen's story. I felt for Marina and I wanted to live, over that prince. And I do get that she really loved him, she wanted him to be happy over her own sake.

Seriously, he was so stupid.

I love the movie and I cry every time I watch it. The Disney version is OK if you're a kid but I think this is a grown-ups version. It shows love and sacrifice and what it really means to love someone.

Me too! I would have taken back what I gave up!

I never thought the Prince was stupid or bad. The Prince was a good man and he was very kind to Marina. The Prince risked his life to save Marina's life from those wolves and he tried to save her life at the end of the movie.

Yes, he realised at the end, you can tell by his reaction
