Weak entry in the crowded giallo field

One of a few Naschy films I never could find until recently. It's a cookie-cutter style giallo with Naschy as a rough cop in the Dirty Harry mold and Erika Blanc is his perky amateur-sleuth wife. They have good chemistry. At 42 minutes, during a routine visit to an apartment by Naschy, Carlo Rustichelli's fantastic theme from Blood & Black Lace plays and the sonic memory of that awesome giallo only serves to point out how deficient this Klimovsky film is in every way. Another B&BL track appears later. The cinematography is routine with no creative flourishes we expect from European gialli and the revelation of the killer's identity has no impact.
