I remember loving the music. Anyone know who it was by?

Uhh, why don't you check the credits (full cast/crew details) on this very Web site? The music was also used for another TV movie, "Say Goodbye Maggie Cole," I believe

unfortunately all it gives is the composer, Pete Rugolo. I too loved the music from this movie, and often wish I could find it so I could hear it again.
