Very Creepy 70's horror flick...

I loved how they kept showing the outside of the house with the fog and the creepy music-that was great. Little blood which was good. The actors did a wonderful job-if they had not it would have been terrible.

Sometimes it is best to imagine things instead of having them thown in your face. Here it works.

Give it a chance.

7 out of 10.

It is definitely above-average, for the genre.

I entirely forgot about the creepy shower scene. Not paced as well as I would have liked, but that shadow was foreboding. I would also have liked Florence to appear more scared leading up to her scream.

Anyone else have to rewind to be sure what the payoff was? I had to freeze the frame, but the journey in getting there and the unexpected goosebumps on my arms and bristles on the back of my neck were worth it.

The 1970s is my absolute favorite decade for horror films and this film is one of the many reasons why. It has suspense and atmosphere all over the place. If it were made today, it would have to have a loud jump scare every five minutes because apparently it takes lots of loud noise to keep the attention of audiences today.

I've been waiting for you, Ben.
