did Albert Paulsen ever speak at all?

he is one actor I know practically nothing about,,,except being the shooter in this film.

Albert Paulsen often played bad guys in films and TV series. He starred in cop shows like Starsky & Hutch and Columbo, usually playing guys with a foreign accent.

He hardly speaks in TLP, but you do see him actually speaking and smiling when he's chatting up that young man in the gay bar.

I felt that his character was not given much depth, but he did have a background. Jake Martin tried to nail him for the murder of his wife several years earlier, but he was acquitted, because of Gus Niles' alibi. Then, when Jake realized that his late partner Dave Evans was pursuing the Camerero case himself, Jake decided that it had to be Henry Camerero who pulled the trigger and he was proven right.

Paulsen also portrayed the Russian doctor in The Manchurian Candidate. He was a decent, if little-known actor.

He was very good in The Manchurian Candidate (1962). Probably his best role.
