This was a truly stand out performance, with a subtlety that will be lost on most.

This is a intriguing story, and the era of the 70's is the perfect brutal backdrop. I just wanted to watch this movie again once I had first seen it, and as with everything Jack does, it just gets better each time you watch it.

Maybe some people were expecting a more military feel, but what you get here dialogue wise is on another level. Quentin Tarantino took inspiration for his dialogue heavy minimalistic backdrop movie scripts from movies like this. I just wish he could have worked with Jack.
