20 minutes more ??
does anyone knows about the extra 20 minutes ??, as seen on IMDB : 120 minutes, and the US cut 99 minutes.
the dvd is 99 minutes also.

shareI've also been on the search for a version with an extra 20 minutes. However I'm starting to think it doesn't exist. Probably an error on the part of IMDB, especially because when I watch the movie at the 99 minute runtime, it seems quite complete.

shareNo, I think they're talking about the movie, and how there is supposedly 20 minutes missing from it. I know Bach added additional stuff to the book, but he has no control over the movie; I've talked to Bach about it and he's completely disowned the movie. He went so far as to get a court order stipulating he hated the film and that he actually really disliked all the extra footage (i.e. Jonathan's heavenly dream sequences) which Hall Bartlett added to the film. Personally, I like Bartlett's dream sequences, but I can see why Bach was upset by them, since Bartlett had promised Bach some creative control over the film in order to make it and then violated it anyway.
