Japanese call it "Haramaki". It means "winding it on the belly" in English. Originally, it effects heating belly during winter to adoid sick coming from chilled belly. It is made of wool. Althoguh it is completely under wear, mannered Yakuza like it to show up, trying making himself looked be rough.
Apart from its working well, they say it has secondary reason that it suites fine in order to conceal weapon.
