Should I watch this ??

The best way to describe it is "far out." Even if you're not a fan of the original album, or the stage soundtrack, I think it's cool just seeing hippies running around ruins in Israel, hippie Roman soldiers with spears, machine guns, tanks, jet fighters...

The best scenes IMO are with Pontius Pilate, Barry Dennen, who played him on the album, the stage, and the film.

Elton John took Groucho Marx to see it, but that might have been the stage production...

"Does it have a happy ending?" LOL

IMO "Superstar" is probably the weakest song, lyricswise, but it is my favorite scene in the film. Norman Jewison really hit the ball out of the park there.
