Unique piece of work

I saw this film so long ago, quite a few times.

I can't figure why it has not been released yet on DVD.

Great cast, great performances.

The problem may be because it's not shown on TV too often?

134 minutes.

That may be hard to fit in the grid.

But aren't there cable stations out there with no commercials?

A pity it has been forgotten.

Sadly this newish OTA station has mess of commercials but does seem to play an entire film so cuts not issue. Could record. And the spots are kind aimed at a low income, elder market, repetitive for cell phones, drug plans, insurance.
Sometimes they repeat a film but this one appears to start today 5:05 pm ET for just one showing. Site has list of stations in areas.
There's another newish too, fwiw, which is having a September Hitchcock month festival.

U.S. agent Nick Allen has his own idea about how to fight a war on drugs: go to the source...and cut the big-time traffickers down. Embittered over the drug-related death of his teenage daughter, Nick sets out to do just that. With stone-cold intensity, he locates and trains a dirty half-dozen recruits for a commando raid on the kingpins of a French drug syndicate. Each recruit has his or her own reason for being part of the death squad. And each has a lethal, take-no-prisoners specialty.
